Are you experienced in Supported Living or Specialist Housing and looking to step in to a managerial role?

We are currently recruiting for a Falls Response Service Manager in our Supported Living team on a fixed term contract until May 2027.

Our Falls Response team are a dedicated team that provide an On Call Service throughout Worcestershire; responding to non-injured people who have fallen at home. We are contracted by the NHS to provide this service.  This role is responsible for leading the Falls Response team to ensure that the service is provided effectively to the communities around Worcestershire.

What could you be doing as a Falls Response Service Manager?

  • You will lead and coach your team to ensure a positive and inclusive culture where the colleagues will feel supported to deliver an excellent service.
  • Complete regular check ins and performance reviews with your team to help develop them.
  • Represent the service at contract meetings and work in collaboration with key partners and stakeholders to ensure continuous service improvement.
  • Undertake and record outcomes of regular colleague job shadowing with all members of the team.
  • Regularly monitor performance of the Falls Response Service, reviewing and monitoring information on all fall calls to identify trends.
  • Review rotas to ensure that 24/7, 365 presence is maintained across the service

What are some things that we need from you?

  • Experience in a Falls Response or Supported Housing role.
  • Supervisory or Management experience would be preferred, but not essential.
  • A natural leader with excellent listening, motivational and communication skills including verbal and written mediums.
  • Understanding of safeguarding alerts and working with vulnerable customers.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • The ability to manage a dispersed workforce and planning rotas.
  • Understanding of care and housing legislation with the ability to apply requirements operationally.
  • This role requires a full current driving license and an enhanced DBS check.
