Multi-skill Trades - Plasterer

Platform Property Care has a great opportunity for an experienced Plasterer to join our successful repairs and maintenance team and help us maintain and improve our homes in Leicester and the surrounding Central and Northwest areas.

You will be a Multi Skill Trades Plasterer and plastering will be your focus, but experience in other trades is an advantage. 

The role is varied. No two days will be the same and you will meet a wide range of customers along the way. It's a tough task and our expectations are high. In return, you'll have the support of a great team.

We want somebody who is: 

A team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication and customer service skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time. 

Some things we need from you 

• You'll have significant plastering experience and at least an NVQ Level 2 in this trade
• Self-motivated 
• Customer focused delivering work right first time 
• You'll be experienced in delivering multi-trade work 
• You will have experience in damp and mould treatment and repairs to walls and ceilings
• You will have been installing architraves, skirting plus stud walling, block, and brick work 
• Experience in wall tiling and installing aqua panelling/ boarding would also be desirable
• You must be able to work alone, and as part of a team  
• A full driving licence 
• As you will be working in customers' homes this role requires a DBS check 

There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota as required. 

This role is for a team based in the following towns so you will need to live close to or in these areas: Leicester, Central Leicestershire and Northwest Leicestershire.
