We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Treasury Assistant to join our supportive, friendly Finance team and expand your treasury experience here at Platform Housing Group, the largest social housing association in the Midlands, but we're much more than just houses; we build homes, strong communities, and make a real and positive difference to the lives of our customers.


In this varied Treasury Assistant role, some of your daily tasks will include coding and processing all direct income and expenditure through Group bank accounts, categorisation of bank statement transactions for cashflow purposes, completing monthly property sale/disposal proceed reconciliations, maintaining the Investment ledger, and processing incoming cheques.


Some of the things we are looking for:

  • Previously worked within a finance role, with basic accounting ability and debits/credits experience
  • Competent ICT skills, including experience of Microsoft Excel
  • AAT Level 3 desirable but not essential
  • Experience of working within a Finance department and recording, coding, and processing direct income and expenditure would be considered desirable
  • Good communicator with strong attention to detail
  • Be a team player with a commitment to quality, customer service, best practice, and value for money
  • Be able to follow procedures and be able to use your own initiative

 

Whist this role is home based, you will be required to travel once a week, to our Group Office located in Birmingham Business Park, Solihull. Occasional travel may also be required to our Group office in Central Park, Worcester so flexibility is needed.
